About Course

This course will inspire you to assess whether your core business is being impacted by the competitive forces of the digital economy and rethink how your organisation creates, delivers, and captures value in this new economy. We begin by exploring the key elements of a business model – customer value proposition, revenue model, and key resources, values and capabilities that deliver the proposition. We then discuss what constraints incumbent leaders face in their pursuit of business model innovation. Next, we articulate canonical business models that characterise the digital economy – platforms, merchants, and the sharing economy. We conclude with a roadmap for such innovation and transformation.
